Dublin's Villages
The city of Dublin was a Viking Settlement, back in 988 or so. Later, in medieval times, the City Wall was built, to enclose what was then the city limits. The wall is mostly gone, and the city has been steadily expanding, so that outlying villages have now been added into Dublin City. I'm reminded of the Star Trek episode, where The Borg told individuals "You will be assimilated!" But Dublin's villages still retain their own individuality, and can be very pleasant places to walk in and around.

Library Leaflets
I found a set of 3 leaflets in Dolphin's Barn Library, which is located on the Grand Canal:
Portobello Walking Trail, Map & Guide
Drimnagh Historical Pocket Map
Crumlin Walking Trail, Map & Guide
